In a post-apocalyptic future, when five people are tricked into thinking they have found safe haven in an abandoned farm house, they find that they have to fight off a horde of people trying to kill them.
This reminds me of the modern versions of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. But it’s really just the look of the trailer, not the plot.
Director Douglas Aarniokoski brings a low-budget but fairly intense looking film to the screen. It stars Shawn Ashmore (Iceman from X-Men) and Ashley Bell (The Last Exorcism). THE DAY premiered August 29th in the USA. Let me know if you catch this one, or is it a pass.
