Sometimes pleasing mother is hard to do. Especially this mother of three convicts, that returns the house they all lived in years ago. Unfortunately, there are new people living in the house. Not unfortunate for Mother and the boys, but for the people and their friends living there. With this mom, it’s not about cupcakes and daisies. Check out the crazy trailer:
Rebecca De Mornay plays Mother. You may remember Mornay from another insane role she played in The Hand That Rocks the Cradle in 1992. I guess it’s good to see she hasn’t lost the crazy. It was directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, III, IV).
Mother’s Day came out back in 2010, but had a limited release in the USA this past May 4th. But you don’t have to find it in the theater, it came out on DVD yesterday, May 8th. I’ll have to rent it soon and see what’s up.
