With all the fairy tales going around in the theaters and on television, how could they forget a curtain beanstalk based story called JACK THE GIANT KILLER. It’s really Jack and the beanstalk, but Giant Killer might bring in the teens.
Director Bryan Singer (X-Men, Superman Returns) brings us a story about a guy that has to rescue a princess from the kingdom of the giants, which could break the peace between them and men. Nicholas Hoult plays Jack, the guy with the beans. Eleanor Tomlinson plays the classic princess that needs saving (maybe she breaks the mold and turns into a giant killer too). The movie posters have a release date of June 2012, but the film is scheduled for 2013. Trailer Time…
Singer gets some interesting projects. This might not have the theatrical weight of X-Men or Superman, but I’m curious what he can do with something so much more fantasy based. Ian McShane plays King Brahmwell and Ewan McGregor plays Elmont.
