A HULU Original – SPOILERS WITH KEVIN SMITH

All of us movie lovers know him.  The writer director of classic comedies like CLERKS, DOGMA and JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK and the thriller RED STATE.  He’s Kevin Smith, and he has a new show only on HULU – SPOILERS WITH KEVIN SMITH.  It’s a show that doesn’t just review movies, Kevin and his Spoiler crew talk about them in real talk.  Just regular people who love films.  Smith keeps it real and down to earth in his half hour program.  He also entertains us with guests like Carrie Fisher (his first), and feature skits and animations.  There is also a segment where Kevin pulls out a classic movie from his collection that he suggests that film lovers watch and enjoy.

SPOILERS WITH KEVIN SMITH is part of HULU’s summer original and exclusive programing – which I talked about here.  I thought the show was fun and I appreciated hearing the different points of view from Kevin and the crowd about their first movie SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN (which I just reviewed here).  You can check out the show below, or just go straight to HULU (I won’t be offended).

SPOILERS WITH KEVIN SMITH streams every Monday on HULU.

After doing some internet ninja-fu to be able to see Hulu in the UK, I concur with the positive views of Mr Smith’s show – you’re not going to get massively insightful opinions on a show like this, but it passed the time fairly well and I enjoyed the plug for The Criterion Collection.

    A promising start…

I think so. At least it’s a collection of opinions that add up to an overall ‘regular guys’ view. And yeah, Smith can make all the classic film suggestions he wants, I’m sure I’ll learn a thing or two by his experience. Since your interninja skills paid off, I hope you check out Booth At The End. It’s hot.
