A long awaited sequel to SIN CITY has been scheduled for October 4th, 2013. SIN CITY 2: A DAME TO KILL FOR is based on Frank Miller‘s original Sin City Graphic Novel works. Miller and Robert Rodriguez will be getting together again to write and direct the film, with an extra writing hand coming from William Monahan.

Among the cast coming back will be Rosario Dawson, Jessica Alba, Michael Madsen and Mickey Rourke as Marv. Production will start this summer at Rodriguez’ Troublemaker Studios. Personally, I loved the original but I felt there was a little so-so part in the middle. I have a feeling that this sequel may be even better. Mark your calendars – Oct. 4th 2013.
