The Hollywood Reporter reported that The Science Channel, part of the Discovery Communication’s network, has made a deal to syndicate FRINGE. Personally, that would not have been my first choice for a channel to show past episodes of Fringe. But the channel that’s all about science may be a fitting home for the cult science fiction produced by J.J. Abrams and friends. The Science Channel already has FIREFLY under their umbrella, which may be the only place on television that fans can catch reruns of Josh Whedon’s space cowboy classic.
The article also mentions their show DARK MATTER: TWISTED BUT TRUE. It’s a program that talks about weird scientific experiments that have been conducted. John Noble (Walter Bishop of Fringe) will be the host of the show, which is another point of interest for Fringe fans. He’s probably the perfect host. Dark Matter will feature episodes with titles like “Ape-Man Army” and “I have Einstein’s Brain”.
Alright Science Channel. If that’s how it’s gonna be, with you grabbing my favorite Sci-Fi Television shows, then bring it on. I’ll show the love.
