#SaturdayNightSciFi Shorts Playlist!

Spiderman Lives Morales

Spider-Man Lives (Superhero) A Miles Morales Fan Film

For those of you that don’t know, I’ve been doing a Twitter event called #SaturdayNightSciFi for over a year. It’s when a bunch of us science fiction loving nerds get together and watch / Live Tweet a film or TV show that I usually pick from Netflix, Hulu or some other streaming source.  For this weekend (date of post) I wanted to feature some short Sci-fi / Fantasy films; particularly ones with creators of color to cap off Black History Month.  My many thanks to Rod a.k.a. The 7th Matrix at the7thmatrix.com.  He’s my goto expert when it comes to science fiction and fantasy content found online.  Rod has cataloged hundreds of short films and webseries on his site, so check it out when you have a chance.  When I asked him if he could help me out with some suggestions, Rod provided a list of films that we could enjoy.

HOW THIS IS GOING DOWN – Since these short films are on different platforms and have unique running times, I thought it would be easier if I included a PRESS PLAY time for each one. That way we could all start watching each film at the same time.  As always, just look for my tweets under #SaturdayNightSciFi. You can watch them on this page (except Netflix) or you can click the links to watch in their own browser window. Enjoy!
