I’ve been pretty amp’d for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, but haven’t reached that peak of excitement. Nokia and Warner Bros. have put out a full length trailer that’s starting to put a fix to that problem. This one makes me want to pull out the Batman action figures and set them up on the desk.
It doesn’t show a whole lot of new shots, but the way the trailer was edited and cut, with the music and the cheering in the background, it give me the feeling that I can take the film much more seriously. Now I can get my head around the ‘tone’ of the film, and I’m liking it.
Nokia also has the trailer on their Youtube channel, but they present it in a cool ‘explosive’ advertisement. You can check it out HERE.
The film stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Morgan Freeman and Tom Hardy as BANE. This is the third Batman directed by Christopher Nolan.
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES comes out in a few weeks on July 20th. Get your cowls and capes ready.
