Here’s a new and shorter trailer for the up and coming Wachowski duo and Tykwer film THE CLOUD ATLAS. It seems like the same trailer that was featured in the theatrical previews during RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION. This is a much more digestible size than the first extended trailer they released.
I started the book that’s the source material for the film when I caught the trailer a couple months ago. But I’m still chugging along with it (and other books). it’s starting out as an interesting read.
The film has a load of stars – Tom Hanks, Halle Berry and Hugh Grant, Jim Sturgess, Hugo Weaving, Susan Sarandon, Keith David and Xun Zhou
Tom Tykwer (Run Lola Run) and Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski (Matrix) are the trio that directed the film. I don’t know whether it’s the music, or the images, or the both, but the trailer is very moving and has me excited. THE CLOUD ATLAS comes out October 26th.

Reminds me of Michael Moorcock’s “Eternal Champion” series. Elric, Hawkmoon, Count Brass, etc. Looks interesting.
