Late yesterday LEGEND OF KORRA fans received news from the KORRA Facebook Page that Nickelodeon has ordered a Second Season of the animated fantasy drama.
So far we’ve seen 12 episodes of the 26 episodic first season. The first story arc completed Book One, and Book Two should be airing in 2013. Personally, I don’t see how you can call ‘Book 2′ part of the first season when it’s airing almost a year later, but that’s the trend of Television shows these days, splitting up seasons the way they are.
With these additional episodes, we should technically have books 3 and 4. This is refreshing news that came by way of an exclusive Entertainment Weekly article.
If you geek soul brothers and sisters still haven’t seen any of AVATAR: LEGEND OF KORRA, then you can go to nick.com and check out a few episodes, but I suggest you start from the beginning. You can also check it out on NickToons on cable if you get that channel (check local listings).
I know a whole bunch of people are happy to hear this news. I’m sure the writers and producers of the show will not disappoint. Here are my previous posts on this cool series – “Who or What is Amon?“ and a review of the season finale “End Game“.
