Guitarist Norman Brown delivers fine relaxed Smooth Jazz grooves that are consistently strong. ‘The Highest Act Of Love’ stands alongside his recent other Shanachie recording ‘Let It Go’. The openers ‘Inside The Garden Of Peace And Love’ and ‘The King Is Here’ are nice relaxed grooves as is the slightly more up-tempo ‘Spirit Power’. ‘Don’t Make Me Wait Too Long’ is mellow and lovely, whilst the title cut features Paul Brown and ‘Peace of Mind’ is a joyful slice of Smooth Jazz. The legendary Deniece Williams features on her classic ‘Free’, whereas ‘Words Of Wisdom’ is graced by vocals from Baby Lee. A contender for Smooth album of the year already.
