Voices of East Harlem | Can You Feel It
These two fantastic Voices of East Harlem albums were produced by Leroy Hutson. Voices of East Harlem from 1973 includes the iconic Modern Soul dancer ‘Cashing in’ and the massive Rare groove classic ‘Wanted Dead or Alive’. ‘Little People’, the up tempo floater ‘New Vibrations’ and beautiful ballads ‘Giving Love’ and ‘Loving you the way I do’ are also key tracks. ‘Can you feel it’ from ’74 includes the typically Hutson funky soul title track, the up tempo dancers’ Take A Stand’ and ‘Amazing Love’ and the mid tempo rare groove steppers ‘Rare So Rare’ and ‘March across this land’. The Voices are amazing throughout, this is great classic orchestrated 70’s Soul at its best, really uplifting. Available as a 2 albums on one CD or as two individual LP’s.
