Tokyo based Ronin Arkestra are led by producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Mark de Clive Lowe. The collective, all superb musicians, fuse 60’s/ 70’s style Spiritual Jazz with more contemporary elements. The music is deep and the arrangements, reminiscent at times of Kamasi Washington, flow with a grace and ease especially on tracks like ‘Elegy Of Entrapment’ and ‘Circle Of Transmigration’. ‘Tempestuous Temperaments’ adds a more experimental approach.
