This 1978 album continues the path set by ‘Bridges’. The anti-drug song’ Angel Dust’, ‘Madison Avenue’ , ‘Show Biznizz’ ‘Angola LA’ and the super funky ‘3rd World Revolution’ are uptempo grooves propelled by the synth bass and with great lyrics. The more melodic and poignant ‘Cane’ and ‘3 Miles Down’ and the more optimistic ‘Better Days Ahead’ are also great songs. Again it is the lyrics that really make this album standout. Another essential album that you can revisit time and time again.
