This Brilliant 1977 album is one of Gil’s best, highlighting his sharp lyrics, great vocals and the fantastic band at their peak. ‘Hello Sunday Hello Road’ and ‘Racetrack In France’ are great uptempo groovers. ‘Song Of The Wind’ , ‘Vildgolia’ , ‘We Almost Lost Detroit , ‘Delta Man’ and ’95 South’ are more mid or down tempo but are totally captivating. This is music and lyrics that you can really feel and relate to giving food fro thought and showcasing what an important artist Gil was to our music. Essential album that should be regarded as one of the all time greats.
