Two of Lonnie’s late 70’s Columbia/ CBS albums on a single CD, Exotic Mysteries has two killer cuts the Disco Jazz of ‘Space Princess’ with its famous percussion break and the 2 Step ‘Quiet Moments’. A Song For The Children’s title song is similar in musical style to ‘Space Princess’, whereas ‘Aquarian Cycle’ has a more hypnotic and funky feel. These two albums were an early outing for bassman Marcus Miller.
