Mark of The Beast from 1974 is another great album that Willie Hutch recorded for Motown. The funky soul of ‘get ready For The Get Down’ , ‘Mark Of The Beast’ and the fantastic ‘Life’s No Fun Living In The Ghetto’ perfectly illustrates Willie’s trademark full production sound, and could easily have been taken from a Blaxploitation movie. The upper mid twmpo soul dancers ‘Try It You’ll Like it’ and ‘I’m Gonna Stay’ and the mid tempo ‘Woman I Still Got Loving on my Mind’ show the more soulful side of Willie Hutch. Another Brilliant album of classic 70’s Soul.
