Sax player Shilts (ex Down To The Bone) produces yet another strong Smooth Jazz Fusion set of quality. His playing (tenor sax) is so reminiscent of Grover Washington or Wilton Felder – soulful, accessible and warm. There is definitely a retro feel to tracks like ‘The Test Of Time’ and ‘Copasetic’. ‘We Don’t Make The Rules’ is another strong Jazz Funk influenced workout. ‘All Grown Up’ is high quality from start to finish and is probably stronger than its predecessor ‘Going Underground’
