Dusty brings together many club culture influences from Jazz, Funk, Soul, Afrobeat and Latin Rhythms and produces a second album with a feel good factor. ‘All There Is’ ft Carla Vallet on vocals has that good time vibe. The latin tinged jazz instrumentals ‘ It’s Time’ and ‘Southern Spirits’ and the jazzy afro groove ‘Mozafrique’ are strong tracks. The afrobeat ‘Seventy Three’, ‘Dance Macabre’ and ‘Cultura’ are heavier but very danceable. If you like Bahama Soul club etc this could be for you.
