David Sanborn emerged as a great new talented saxophonist on this 1976 album. He is joined by a great band including Hiram Bullock on Bass‘Indio’ is a superb Jazz funk groove. ‘Mamacita’ is a more mid tempo groove, and ‘Concrete Jungle’ another groover. Pheobe Snow and Paul Simon guest on Simon’s composition ‘Smile’ whilst Patti Austin also sings on the album.
