Fourth studio album by New York hitmakers Atlantic Starr, ‘Brilliance’ was released in 1982 and went to number 1 on the US R&B charts. ‘Circles’ was a huge hit for the band with that crisp production and soulful vibe, while ‘Love Me Down’ also scored high. Sharon Bryant’s vocals are impeccable on both lead and duets as on the sublime beat ballad ‘Let’s Get Closer’. ‘You’re The One I Need’ is a great mid tempo dancer again featuring Ms Bryant’s effortless vocals.
