Lenny Williams has one of the most distinctive voices in Soul music. ‘Choosing You’ was his debut album for ABC in 1977 and was produced by Frank Wilson. ‘Shoo Doo Fu Fu Ooh’ is a great uplifting modern soul dancer. ‘Look Up with your mind’ is a subtle mid tempo dancer where leny’s vocals really shine. ‘Choosing You’ was a massive Soulful disco hit and is presented here in album, 12” and 7” versions. ‘Problem Solver’ is one of Lenny’s trademark tracks he recorded it several times, the big sound beat ballad sounds great on this album. Lenny always scored on the ballads and ‘I’ve been away too long’ is no exception. Strong album from the former Tower of power lead vocalist.
