Both of Mighty Fire’s albums on one CD, ‘No Time For Masquerading’ was released in 1981 and contained two tracks popular in the UK at the time, the good modern soul dancers ‘Sweet Fire’ and ‘Love Fantasy’. The album majors on uptempo, well produced dance tunes but a couple of good harmony tracks highlight the band’s vocal abilities namely the mellow “Missing You”. From 1982 ‘Mighty Fire’ shows a slight development in the sound with a move towards a slower boogie feel in some of the cuts. “Just a Little Bit Of Your Love” is a decent mid tempo Modern Soul number, “Heavy Rotation” and “Nothing Can Sabotage My Love” are decent boogie dancers.
