Jerry Ragavoy produced Major Harris 1978 album ‘How do you take your love’. Although it was recorded in new York it has all the hallmarks of a Philly Soul album. ‘I Wanna Dance with you’ starts as a nice ballad for 3 minutes then develops into a great string laden Philly Disco dancer for its final 7 minutes. ‘Let Me take You There’ and ‘Night Moves’ (later recorded by Chaka Khan) are lovely mid tempo groovers.
Quality Philly style Soul album.
