This Swamp Dogg/Jerry Williams written and produced 1970 album is one of the all time great Deep Soul albums. Sandra Phillips was signed by Jerry to the Canyon label to replace Doris Duke and ‘Too Many People in One Bed’ is a classic album of cheatin love southern soul songs. The beat ballads ‘Rescue Me’ , ‘To the other woman’, ‘Now that i’m gone’, ‘After all I am your wife’and slower ‘She Didn’t Know’ are excellent. ‘My Man and Me’, ‘Some others Son’ and ‘Someday (we’ll be together)’ have slightly more tempo to provide a good contrast.
