The Smooth Jazz saxman Euge Groove returns with his new set ‘Got 2 Be Groovin’. It is a familiar mix of strong smooth grooves and highly melodic mellow tunes. ‘Got 2 Be Groovin’, ‘Groovin Up Hip Street’ and ‘Homie Grown’ are the most solid grooves. ‘Forever And A Day’ possesses a nice melody on which Euge Groove shares the lead duties with flautist Althea Rene, whilst the ballad ‘Wildflower’ is the best of the two vocal cuts. Other guests include Peter White and Paul Brown.
