Saxophonist Alessandro Scala is joined by fellow Italian Trumpetter Fabrizio Bosso and Trombonist Roberto Rossi on this fine mainly self penned album recorded for the Schema label. ‘Mood’ is a beautiful Modal Jazz piece that reminds you on Yusef Lateef . ‘Dexter Blues’ is a hard Bop shifter featuring great keyboards from Nico Menci. ‘Viaggio Stellare’ is another uptempo dancefloor number on which Alessandro solo is outstanding and the groove is strong on the multi paced ‘Marcha Para Oeste’. ‘Isola Del Sole’ and ‘My Sound’ are lilting shufflers and ‘Jazz Club’ is another good groove track
