Superb Groove oriented contemporary British Jazz Funk album from the Afro Elements. The band consist of Bassist and keyboardist Simon Bramley (Mr Gone), Drummer Phil Nelson, Keyboard players Nel Burditt and Neil Hunter assisted by many Horn players and other great primarily British musicians. Fraser Jowle supplies the vocals on the up tempo ‘Your Eyes’, ‘Lift your life’, ‘You’re a waste of time’ and ‘It feels so good’. There are some very good funky jazz instrumental tracks in ‘Kamura San’, ‘Out of the Centre’ ‘Formosa’and ‘The Sheriff’. This is a really good album throughout and it will keep your feet tapping, the closest comparison would be an earlier Incognito, but Afro Elements have their own sound.
