Jazzmeia Horn wowed us with her fabulous debut a couple of years ago. She consolidates her position as one of the finest Jazz singers of her generation with another strong album ‘Love & Liberation’.Whether she is singing in the tradition of Sarah and Ella on swinging new songs like ‘Free your mind’, ‘When I Say’, or ‘Out of the window’ or ballads like ‘Time’ or the mid tempo ‘No More’ her voice is outstanding throughout. Her version of Erykah Badu beautiful ‘Green Eyes’ is a highlight as is the ballad duet with Jamison Ross ‘Reflections of my heart’ both appealing to Soulsters as well as Jazz heads. Great contemporary Vocal Jazz.
