The third BWB CD sees these giants of Smooth Jazz on top form. Trumpeter Rick Braun, saxophonist Kirk Whalum and guitarist Norman Brown, who comprise BWB deliver a set of suitably quality smooth grooves. The playing is exquisite. Tracks like ‘Triple Dare’ and the funkier ‘Turn Up’ are foot tapping pieces. ‘BWB@ has quasi reggae feel, where as ‘Bolly Bop’ is a nod towards India, though not in feel. ‘I Want You Girl’ is a nice summery tune. Good stuff.
