The funky ‘Cachaca’, ‘Breaking Down’ and ‘West Coast Jam’ set groove driven approach. Tracks like the fast ‘Ludicrous Speed’ sustain that approach. Aside from the 7 originals there are 3 covers including Gato Barbieri’s ‘Europa’ and Kool And The Gang’s ‘Summer Madness’. 10 quality instrumentals – a candidate for Smooth Jazz album of the year
