To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Far Out album ‘Encore’, the label has released it on vinyl. The vibe is distinctly Brazilian and laid-back and languid. Guest appearance from Azymuth and Ivan Lins together with a nine-piece string section underpin this great album. Tunes like the lovely ‘Amor Na Contra Mao’ and ‘Tupa Tupi’ sustain the summer feel that permeates the album. ‘Bis’ is a Brazilian Jazz Funk gem that breezes along. Some more Brazilian magic courtesy of the Far Out.
