This 27-track compilation covers guitarist Eric Gale’s solo work for Kudu, Columbia, Elektra musician and has two tracks from Stuff, the Jazz Funk supergroup of which he was an integral member. Standout tune is the Jazz Funk classic ‘Ginseng Woman’. Other fine cuts include the cover of ‘Sara Smile’, the lovely ‘Looking Good’ and the Hammond led version of Charlie Parker’s ‘Au Privave’ featuring Charles Earland. Also, the typically CTI sounding ‘Forecast’ from his Kudu album of the same name.
