The institution that is Soul Togetherness deliver their annual survey of the best new soulful dancefloor fillers with another 15 stellar tracks that have been crowd pleasers in clubs over the past 12 months. Some really classy highlights here – Tuxedo’s ‘2nd Time Around’ is a nu-boogie Soul Brother favourite, Leela James faultless ‘There 4U’ reminds us how strong her recent album is while the cavernous funk of Will Sessions/Amp Fiddler’s ‘Lost Without You’ is a real throwback effort. The ultra summery ‘Doublin’ Down’ from The Jack Moves will have yu exploring the rest of their output while The Groove Association’s ‘One For The Money’ oozes class. Paul Craver’s ‘Back To You’ has a superb, retro crossover feel while Jay King’s ‘Good Kinda Lovin’ will please fans of old school soul. Another solid offering.
