Smooth Jazz super group, Pieces Of A Dream return with some fine instrumental grooves. The 10 track CD kicks off with the funky ‘Right Back Atcha’, a vibe that continues with the slower and slightly grittier ‘Just Funkin’ Around’. Pieces Of A Dream are also adept at radio friendly easy on the ear tunes such as ‘A New Day’, the riff laden ‘On The Move’, and the delightfully melodic ‘Let’s Do This’. James Lloyd’s piano and electric piano solos are top notch and lovers of Smooth Jazz keyboard playing will lover this typical strong set from the veterans.
