Smooth Jazz guitarist Ronny Smith delivers a delightful set of laid-back set quietly funky instrumental grooves. ‘Shake It Up’ and ‘Betting It All On Black’ are driving more up-tempo pieces. ‘In The Rain With You’ is romantic and very easy on the ear, whilst ‘Dark And Lonely’ is very smooth and slow. Smith’s playing is not dissimilar from Nick Colionne with touches of Benson/ Norman Brown and even 70’s Johnny Guitar Watson. One for the Smooth Jazz lovers and classy and very strong.
