Sarah Elizabeth Charles & her band, Scope push boundaries with the release of their third album, ‘Free Of Form’. This project marks the first release on Christian Scott’s Stretch music label. This project includes veteran band members Jesse Elder (keys), Burniss Earl Travis II (bass), John Davis (drums) along with Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah (special guest on trumpet and co-producer with Charles. ‘ Free Of Form’ is a fusion of jazz, soul, indie rock, R&B and electronic experimentation. Standout track include ‘I will wait’, ‘The fold’, ‘Another Cloudy Memory’ and ‘Taller’. For those who like it slightly left of center!
