This 9 track set offers disco, funk, soul and a touch of gospel and bears the hallmarks of the 9th Creation’s signature style: snappy, funky and driven. ‘Reaching For The Top’ is a bustling funker that contrasts with the sublime modern soul/gospel of ‘He’s Coming’. The punchy funker ‘It Ain’t Right’, the breezy, synth washed ‘Bionic Love Affair’ and pounding funky-soul of ‘Happy Go Lucky Man’ are also winners.
