Shakatak, veterans of the UK’s Jazz Funk and Smooth Jazz scene, return with a sleek set that will ppeal to the band’s many fans. There are danceable grooves like ‘To Be Loved’ and ‘Making My Dreams Come True’. ‘High Town’ is a slowish groover and ‘Soul Paradise’ is a very nice Latin tinged shuffler. The atmospheric ‘Kyoto Dreaming’ is a gentle jazzy groover and ‘Forever Rio’ develops into a strong Brazilian influenced tune.
