#GSBQOTW – What Book(s) Would You Want HBO to Make into a Show?

In light of HBO’s GAME OF THRONES (concluding it’s third season this past Sunday) I thought a new series on the network would be a good theme for my GEEK SOUL BROTHER QUESTION OF THE WEEK.  So What Book(s) would you love to see HBO produce into a series?  I asked my GSB Family on twitter what they thought and they tweeted back some great suggestions.  My book reading queue just exploded.

The first answer I got was from my buddy – Papa Kenn Media (‪@PapaKennMedia) – ‬ Locke & Key – a graphic novel series by Joe Hill (aka Stephen King’s son).  It seems the most requested were novels by Octavia Butler, African-American Science Fiction Author.  And Stephen King’s THE DARK TOWER was a popular choice.  I’m sure if you take a look at this list you will find something that you might not have read.  I just related the answers here, not my tweeps that sent them.  You know who you are.

The Foundation series would be amazing. Especially when they got to the Mutant. The best part is HBO could make it an ensemble show.

I’d like to see Ready Player One get some attention on HBO. It would be something new and different for the network.
