My Afro-Antenna must have been tingling today. I was listening to a friend, who I thought said ‘tron’ (she said something completely different), which made me think about the movie, which lead me to wonder about the Disney XD Cartoon, which I then googled, and found out through Collider.com that it’s going to air this June. A.D.D. is a wonderful thing when used correctly.
It’s called TRON: UPRISING, and it looks mucho caliente. And not only does it look great, but it has some heavy actors behind the voices - Elijah Wood, Mandy Moore, Paul Reubens, Lance Henriksen, and the original Tron - Bruce Boxleitner. Collider also featured a recently released Disney Poster for the Series pictured above. You can read more of the article HERE.
With this and other cartoons like AVATAR: LEGEND OF KORRA coming out, this will be a nice year for us adults to get back into our inner child.

I see animated Tron goodness in my future.
Loved “Legacy” and I’m really liking the combination of animation styles in this trailer.

I saw Legacy in the theater and liked it, but it really grew on me while watching it on DVD. If they take the story seriously in the cartoon then I’m sure I will be digging that too.
