Geek Soul Brother Live: Ep.21 – BATMAN AND DARK KNIGHT FILMS

Hello geek soul family.  We drove another show home last night with episode 21 of GEEK SOUL BROTHER LIVE!  The main subject for the show was a discussion about Batman in TV Shows, Movies and Comics.  Toby-Wan, The Private, El Camino, MDawg and Shu-pocalypes (who was Johnny Come Lately) were all on the call, with Artemis and Mustki giving chat support.

I tried to get some EUREKA FINALE love in the show, but not everybody watched it (boo).  The Private gave a 2-Minute recount on the updated movie news at the SDCC, and we also totally spoiled BLACK DYNAMITE on Adult Swim.

Sit back, relax and listen to the show as we geek out as always over Movies, TV and recent news.  You can listen here or go to the GEEK SOUL BROTHER LIVE! PAGE ON TALKSHOE.COM.

  • Which actor got what right about Batman and Bruce Wayne.
  • We got all introspective on Tim Burton’s take of the caped crusader.
  • Why they don’t make the many great stories of the Batman comics into films.
  • And we reminisced on how Adam West and cast was really the Batman most of us experienced first as kids.

NEXT WEEK - It’s all about THE DARK KNIGHT RISES REVIEW.  The GSB crew will talk about what we liked, loved and hated about the third installment of the Chris Nolan Trilogy.  And I will be bringing up a review of the season two premiere of ALPHAS.

Hope you enjoy the show.  You can always listen to past episodes on my GEEK SOUL BROTHER LIVE TALKSHOE PAGE, and from there you can subscribe to it through iTunes.  Leave your comments below and tell me what you thought.
