In this episode 18 of GEEK SOUL BROTHER LIVE, I’m joined by my friends a.k.a. The Private, Toby-Wan Kenobi, Shu-pocalypes and MDawg. Our friend and resident scholar on LEGEND OF KORRA didn’t make it into the call, but we went ahead and reviewed it anyway. We also talked about ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER, but only two of us had seen it before this recording.

LEGEND OF KORRA – REVIEW OF FINALE AND SEASON 1 – We didn’t give up all the goods, but we do geek out over one of our favorite show. We also decided which bending skills we would be born with, and who would most likely be an AVATAR (yes, we are 100% Nerds).
ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER REVIEW – Only The Private and I had the courage to see the film, though it wasn’t a struggle for us at all. I mean, a past president hacking vampires with the crazy axe moves, that’s right up our ally. Our main points that we covered were:
- How series the film was, even though it was total fantasy
- Timur Bekmambetov is still great with outlandish special effects scenes
- Why was this concept so hard to swallow for people.
- We loved how they fit the history into the fantasy.
- Mary Elizabeth Winstead was the best actress.
