Another wonderfully horrible B-Movie from the 50′s, I give you this tropical horror treat – FROM HELL IT CAME.
A Polynesian Prince is set up for a crime. According to Polynesian tradition (Hollywood tradition), he’s killed with a knife through the heart. His spirit of vengeance comes back as… a killer tree stump, with a knife sticking out of it! Take a look at the trailer if you can stand it:
My memories are filled with long past Saturdays, watching movies like this. For some reason, even though a killer tree stump was corny to my 10 year old brain, I still found it a little bit of a thriller (rubber costume and all). What really made this movie indelible to my psyche was how they killed the monster at the end. I can’t ruin it for you though. If you can stomach watching it, you will probably get a laugh. Hope you like bad horror. Later.

Oh… oh wow. At first I didn’t believe this movie could really feature a killer tree stump, but then…
Jeez.
